Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about ISC Global Missions? Below are answers to help you better understand who we are, what we do, and how you can be part of the mission.

Q: What does “unreached peoples” & the 10/40 window mean?

A: Unreached peoples are ethnic or cultural groups where the majority have never heard the Gospel and where there is little or no local church presence to share Christ without outside help.

The 10/40 Window refers to a geographic area between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator, stretching from North Africa through the Middle East to Asia. It contains the highest concentration of unreached people groups—places where the name of Jesus is often least known and access to the Gospel is limited.

Q: What does ISC Global Missions do for the local church?

A: ISC Global Missions is growing in its structure and reach, but our goal remains clear: to help local churches engage in the Great Commission. We offer opportunities to pray, give, serve, and go—supporting global outreach efforts and connecting churches to projects, training, and partnerships that make a difference both locally and abroad.

How can individuals or churches get involved with ISC Global Missions?

There are many ways to get involved! Individuals and churches can pray for global needs, give financially to mission projects, support fundraising efforts, or participate in local and international outreach initiatives. You can also submit a Quarterly Church Report, attend missions seminars, or reach out to us directly to explore partnership opportunities. Whether you’re called to pray, send, mobilize, or go—there’s a place for you in the mission.

Q: What types of gifts do you accept?

A: ISC Global Missions gratefully accepts most forms of outright gifts. If you’re considering a gift involving real estate or personal property, please email us at iscglobal212@gmail.com to discuss how we can receive and steward your contribution.

Q: How is ISC Global funded?

ISC Global Missions is funded through the generous giving of local churches, individual donors, and supporters within the Illinois State Council. We also receive designated gifts for specific mission projects and conduct fundraising initiatives throughout the year to support global outreach and emergency response efforts.

Q: How do the ISC Global Missions and the PCAFI Global Missions work together?

A: The Illinois State Council (ISC) Global Missions Auxiliary operates under the leadership of our district council while working in alignment with the broader vision of PCAFI Global Missions. We support national goals through financial assessments, shared projects, and communication with the global team. While our efforts are state led, we function as a connected part of the greater PCAFI family—praying, sending, mobilizing, and going together to reach the nations for Christ.
